For designers who like things to line up and understand the value mukler-brockmann heirarchy, this book is the bible. Articles published mainly in trade journals then followed.

Poor translation and user-experience Portuguese versionsomewhat outdated concepts that are poorly applied in this edition. What matters more, I’d say is spacing, fonts and font sizes.

It’s one of hraphic greatest resources for graphic designers out there. It definitely lays a solid foundation of the grid system, but it’s too extreme, to the point that it’s over doing it.
